Ouch! This must have hurt

I don't know if this has been posted here or not, but it sure looked painful.

Here is the link:

If you have never checked out this website is worth a few minutes just to see what people do to exotic cars.

The link won't work for some reason. But that almost looks like it was done purposely, as with a crusher or something, as opposed to a collision.

Amazing that this person survived!

"Car:
1993 Mazda RX-7 Type R1 500

Description:
Lost control around a corner, spun around and was hit by a truck. In this picture, it looks like the car split in two, but in reality, this is still in one piece. The back of the car ended up crumpling inward several feet. The rear wheel is inside the passenger compartment. Driver actually survived but took months to recover.

Location:
Santiago, Chile"

I can see how the person survived. They hit the truck going backwards, and as anyone who's seen demolition derbys run can tell you, you want to get hit so you're pushed into a seat.

What I'm amazed by is that the gas tank wasn't turned into a fireball.
