The link won't work for some reason. But that almost looks like it was done purposely, as with a crusher or something, as opposed to a collision.

The back of the car ended up crumpling inward several feet. The rear wheel is inside the passenger compartment. Driver actually survived but took months to recover.

I can see how the person survived. They hit the truck going backwards, and as anyone who's seen demolition derbys run can tell you, you want to get hit so you're pushed into a seat.

What I'm amazed by is that the gas tank wasn't turned into a fireball.
