OS Giken Gearset

Hi all
Does anybody know anyone with a running
car that has a OS Giken 1-5 gearset fitted at all?
is it a noisy box?
need to check if mine is normal or an issue with bearings etc

Thanks in advance

Curious, sorry to piggy back of this thread. But do the OS Giken gear sets just work with OEM syncros?

As per message, mine is noisy.

If you didn't oil fill the box yourself check oil level for piece of mind.

I had one (1.5 way), it wasn't noisy at all. Felt OEM. I just had a KAAZ 2 way put in my recent car because the OS Giken was OOS, and this thing is noisy and clunky as hell (did the recommended break-in).

I would definitely recommend the OS Giken over the KAAZ (although apparently you can pay KAAZ extra money to treat the clutch plates like they should be doing anyway and it'll reduce the noise)

Thanks for your reply but my query is about the gearbox and not the rear differential
