In fact, now that i got a closer look of the picture i am positive that this is his car. He has the JDM rear window spoiler (i think that it is pretty cool) and the tv monitor rack behind the seats (the bar sticking up holds a bunch of them when connected) give it away. Isnt it funny how show judges love stupid nick-nacks and all of the over-the-top bullshit?

I would prefer the 95 RE-Amemiya wide body kit ( SP's orange FD ). This body kit seems to complement the FD's curvy lines (no sharp edges). But then again many would still keep it stock as it looks beautiful as it is. Of course money is the issue as well

That thing is hideous, why would anyone do that to an FD?

Sadly, I can think of a few people on the forum who probably think that's cool and would do that to their cars.

And they look completely out of place glued to the C-pillar of an FD. Case in point ^^

Im sorry, I know Im a newbie but that FD is retarded. Personally the only widebody FD that I really liked was Crashunit's, and his "WAS" custom and one of a kind. There just arent too many people out there that can do a widebody correctly on an FD.

Swweeeettt.....

If you consider molding pre-made pieces is custom... And in my opinion, still very ugly.

I was always captivated by the whole "light weight" theme of the FD. Hell, Ive worked hard to remove as much weight as possible and to keep the cars weight to a minimum. I dont think I would sleep well at night knowing I added hundreds of pounds of fiberglass, plastic, vents, TVs, video games, neon, speakers, ect to my car.

OK, Imagine this. Jimmy FINALLY has enough money to go out and just buy a 95 R2. He finds one with 6k miles on it ! He gives the man the cash and drives the car home. On the way to show off the car to your friends, he has a great idea.... DEMOLITION DERBY!!! Jimmy starts swerving out of control trying to tear everyones car apart, including his own.... his brand new rx-7 that they only made 57 of ! It took Jimmy 5 years to save up enough money to buy it and 3 hours to destroy it. But he has no regrets, he had fun..... I made up this story as an inspiration to the guy driving that piece of **** with 300 pounds of stereo **** in it and people all alike. I just wanted to say that Jimmy has 10 times more intellegence for doing what he did than to have weight adding **** that nobody cares about in/on an rx7, the most addicting, best looking, and overall best sportscar of any generation. If your into that kinda thing, get an suv, DON'T put it in an rx7. And for all you other ricers ******* up incredible cars........ Jump of a ****** cliff.

That is one thing that I'll never understand. RE Amemyia, the #1 RX-7 tuner in the world makes some of the ugliest body kits in history for the very same car. I've never understood that at all. But hey, someone obviously likes it or it wouldn't show up at these kinds of events. Just be glad that the majority of people don't like it!!
