Sorry to bump this, am looking for an FD3 3.90 R&P and was wondering if anyone can confirm the teeth count on the gears?

Saw that on the earlier models it was 11/43, but since their gear diameter is smaller wasn’t sure if it’d be the same on the larger diameter FD gear.

The ones I've had are 43 teeth on the crownwheel and 11 on the pinion.

Assume it's going in something other than an Rx7, but if it is, be aware of the different flange on the 3.9.

Thanks, but not sure I’m catching your drift.

It should mount to an FD differential regardless, right?

Yep, the auto ratio is 3.909, 11/43 and fits FD, Rx8 and FC diff centres.

The other point I was trying to make, the companion flange from the auto has a different PCD for the tailshaft and is minus the cast iron weight, so best to change that if intended use is in a manual FD
