Exclamation Only getting 6 PSI

I recently installed an Autometer boost gauge. After installing I noticed that I was only getting around 6 PSI of boost. The stock setting is 10 PSI correct? Does anyone know why I am only getting 6 PSI? The engine is all stock, I have a grounding system, and a Apexi N1 Cat-Back Exhuast. If anyone could list any advice on how to fix this or maybe know of a reason why it is happening please reply to this post. The gauge also has vaccumn pressure on it and my vacumn is around 18-20 so I have good vacumn according to a friend of mine.

Thanks
