One way check valve color and secondary boost?

Can someone tell me what color the one way check valve is
in the line from the vacum chamber to the extension manifold.
I believe this is the check valve used by the turbo control.

I am trying to diagnose a turbo problem.
Turbos work fine in 3rd and 4th gear.
The secondary doesn't come online in 1st gear. Sometimes I will get 4-5lbs boost on secondary in 1st gear.

In second gear sometimes I will get full secondary boost and sometimes
not.
It seems that if I start off from a very slow speed in 2nd gear and do a WOT
there is a better chance of the secondary boost coming online as it should.

Thanks

There is no check valve between the vacuum chamber and the extension manifold. Do you mean between the pressure chamber (black box at the front of the UIM)and the y-pipe? That one is green and black.

Check this diagram:

I added the colors and arrows on the check valves. Assuming my car was correct before, this should be the arrangement.

I believe the check valve I am refering to gets its vacum from the vacum chamber
via hoses that run through the rats nest tubing.

If you look at dgessaman's diagram you will see it.

You are correct that there is no check valve between the hose that is directly
connected to the vacum chamber and the rats nest tubing.

Than again maybe I'm missing something. (g)

Thanks for your reply
