One last FD question for me
How much is my car actually WORTH?
I'm selling it, but I am losing a lot of money...I want to know the price that would be the absolute lowest I should allow.
Car: 94 Touring...MB
Miles: 128,000 on chassis, turbos
Rebuilt engine (Banzai Racing) - core had 6,000 miles
Mods:
- Clutchmasters Stage I clutch
- Blitz intake
- Blitz BOV
- b&m short shifter...MOMO shift ****
- Cusco Front strut tower bar
- m2 harness/rear strut tower bar
- pettit downpipe
- cat-back exhaust (3") to a generic carbon fiber muffler
- Corbeau CR1 seats
- Schrothe rallye IV 4-point harnesses
- other random stuff that isn't really important
- new brakes (OEM)
- new sensors (OEM - replaced when they failed)
- new rear tires (nothing special)
I originally was asking $14,000, but then lowered down to $12,500.
The car has some problems, mainly the turbos (which need to be replaced) and the exterior (some dents and bad paint).
What should I accept?

I prolly wouldnt go under 10k. It is really dependent on how rough the paint/body is. If the turbos need replaced, most people will price a new set through mazda, and labor. That is a 4k bargaining tool for the buyer. I would still ask $12500, and just see what kind of offers you get.

wow.. its hard to say..
I met a guy over xmas weekend and he bought his 93 FD for 7K.. and it ran..
Its all depend on the condition.. both exterior and interior.. engine is hard to tell.. even with rebuilt.. long as compression is good..
I say around 10K would be good.. since you said it had bad paint.. But always go high and if you are not in great hurry to sell..
New rebuilt would be your positive side to your car.. might be good to have your compression test done and have it, if its good..
