Man that is a cleeaan FD. I would kill for one like that, just do the very basic 'reliability' mods and leave it alone. Then I'd turn my used and abused high mileage FD into a track beast.

lol I easily get 26-27 highway and that still includes having some WOT fun. The last 4 long highway trips I have averaged 26.6 mpg. I have an intake, SMIC, and no cats, so I'm sure that makes things a little more efficient too.

The secondary injectors come online anytime over 2750 rpm when the primary injector duty cycle exceeds a certain limit. So at 55mph you should be below 2750 rpm in 5th and the secondaries will never come on. At 80 mph you are probably closer to 3000 rpm, but I bet the secondaries wont come on unless you start boosting. I usually cruise around 75-80 mph and get great gas mileage.

I'd still have a compression check done but that thing looks great.

I ran the VIN(not carfax) and it's legit AFIK. Could get 20k for it easily.

I dont know. The wheels just don't add up to me. Why would you go through all the trouble to keep a car that new, and that clean, but put some wheels on the car that look like a cheap imitation of the originals. Common sense would tell me that the original wheels would still probably be in decent shape after 5500 miles. It just seems that someone this meticulous would make sure to put original wheels back on the car instead of a knock off.

Damn that looks awesome. I hate when dealers sell cars with like 2 ounces of gas left. Damn cheapskates. Cant even fill it up half way for their customers.

Those wheels were popular in the mid to early 90's. I remember seeing them in all the Road and track mags back then?? I think tire rack sold them.Don't ask me why I remember. Original owner must have swaped em?

Amazing. I love that color combination. I'll definitely pickup an ultra low mileage FD in the future.

I'm just afraid that some young kid's gonna sucker his parents into buying this, and next thing you know, he'll be on the forum asking advice on how to mod it Or at least that's what happened the last time an FD like this popped up =-/

i think it's a shame that the owner didn't enjoy it more in the past decade! for 38 grand too, what a fool!

an FD should be driven and drooled over, not just drooled over. never mind i can only drool over mine since i'm overhauling it.

See I worry about someone like Ernie snatching it up and turning it into a beast drag car ;p

I need to take out a home equity loan and call this an investment or something. That car is way too sexy...

Aint that the truth. And I will be anxiously awaiting the little tykes inevitable "how do I make the BOV louder?" thread, followed shortly by, "wrapped my FD around a pole."

Somebody save that FD!

I don't see any problem with modding it? as long as it is bolt on. I bought a low mile
FD 14k on the dial. I have made some minor mods to it i.e Rad, Intercooler fuel pump
gauges etc. Nothing that is not irreversible. I do have to drive it more though, it only has 15k on it now

That thing will probably pop the first time someone lays into. These cars were meant to be driven hard not collected
