Question Which One?!

well, im pretty new to this forum. ive been floating around here for a couple months though. anyway, im buying a RX-7, but there's one problem. ive found two that i like and can afford. ive just finished reading a thread talking about the pros of having the '94 model vs. the '93 model. well, here's my delema. i found a '94 and its bad ***, but its an auto!!! and ive found a '93 thats exactly like the '94 (minus little interior differences) even with mileage and its a standard. now im not stupid, i know a standard is quicker than the auto, but how good are the automatic tranny's in these cars. i havent found any threads that talk about them. i want the '94 model, but i really want the standard. what the hell should i do? are the differences between the two models that big of a deal? thanks for any replys.

Dude get the manual....the auto are not worth as much no matter what someone else says. They are not particularly strong trannies either if you mod the car bigtime. If both engine/turbos are in nice condition..no question get the 5 speed.

No offence to auto owners but.......DO NOT GET AN AUTO. Keep looking for a 94-95 if you dont want a 93. Patience young jedi knight.

Yea dont buy an auto. They are much slower and dont respond to mods as good as the 5spd.
