OMP leak from cover screw, can it be fixed?

My OMP has a leak from what appears to be the back of a screw on the cover (see pic below). Is the cover removable? If so, can I remove the cover and RTV that screw or the area around it, or is it more complicated than that?

Thanks!

I think there's a thread with the OMP taken apart, might be worth doing some digging. Probably an O-ring between the halves. May also want to clean it up good with some brake cleaner then drive the car around and see if it gets dirty again, that could be oil from somewhere else.

Thanks Dale, I'll take a look at the thread you mentioned. I'm pretty sure the oil is coming from that area, I have the turbos out of the car and can get a good view of everything around it. There's also a leak where the lines connect, but that's on the other side of the omp.

I pulled apart the omp today and as Dale mentioned, the oil wasn't specifically coming from under the motor cover. It was bone dry under there (as it should be by design). I have no idea how a perfect pool of oil formed on the back of that screw... The leaking injector lines made a mess of things, and oil flowed around the back of the omp. It's possible that somehow caused it. The top left bolt hole was stripped as well, so that could have caused a small leak where it mates to the housing, I'm not sure.

Regardless, I took everything apart and cleaned it, torched the copper washers to better seal the injector lines, used some master grey plus (oil sealant / rtv) around the outside edge of the o-ring, cleaned out the stripped bolt hole and used a slightly longer bolt. It should be good now.

Everything was clean under the motor cover

All cleaned up.

Nice! I think you're in good shape there. Oil could have been from somewhere else too - PCV system, turbo oil feed, etc. and it dripped on there.

Good eye... yep, I saw the radiator hose. The pic makes it look worse than it is. It's definitely old coolant, likely from a previous leak or a previous owner not cleaning up after removing it. I haven't seen it leak at all and I've been watching it. The omp substance was definitely oil.
