Why...it's either a good luck charm or it's cursed?

255 hp, or even 300 hp isn't high anymore these days.

Must have been moving at a decent clip.

theres no telling how well it held up, we don't know how hard he hit the tree/pole or whatever the hell it was. Although you do have to be going pretty fast to get sideways like that...

No kidding. In order to make a car wrap around a stationary object like that would take unsurvivable force or atleast pretty darn close to it.

The persons body would have hit the side of impact on impact its the physics behind it, probably suffering head injuries or a broken neck at that velocity, but u dont see that around much, u gotta be stupid to drive like that knowing all the hazzards around u, but for sure that blood looks like it came from his ear or somfin. the passenger woudl have survived if there was one but ladaz to the driver and the car... :S

Sure about that? This is a left hand drive car, so the passenger would have been crushed and not the driver.

He's basing his thoughts on Physics alone. IOW you are better off pushing yourself against the point of impact than you are colliding with it. However in this situation if either survived then someone from above gave them a hand and I can only hope that was the case.

I thought that looked like a DOD decal on the windshield.

I wonder if the driver was a member of the forum.

now that i think about it i was looking at a FD(tobuy) when i just turned 18. It was VA Beach and it was a VR when i was test driving the car a navy guy pops up to take a look at it too. the guy that bought the car whil;e i was still there. RX7's in that area are pretty slim so i wonder if its the guy that was there when i was test driving the car. i still remember his face. i wonder if its that car.
