ok, wassup with driver side rear tires???

ok, wassup with driver side rear tires??? my brother had a huge gash in his driver side rear tire not too long ago and another one of my friends with a fd has a gash in his driver side rear tire. Today I come home to find that my driver side rear tire is leaking air, I must have hit something. Is this a phenomon in FD's? Who else has had problems with this?

Maybe there is something on one or more of the streets you are all driving on?

I've only had a problem with one tire, and it was just because of old age. Blew it out one day racing someone down a street (yea, dumb I know) but it was the rear passenger side.
