OK, I did the hose job, checked all the hoses for leaks, I even tried poormans conversion to Non sequential. I still only get 8 PSI max boost I have never seen anything higher?? Could my waste gate be bad? Someone please give me a list of trouble shooting for this. I have been to all the sites with Troubleshooting with no luck tried it all.

Any Ideas will be great.

Well the first obvious question is going to be, did you swap over the boost pills from the wastegate and precontrol line?

You must have swapped the pills. I installed the home depot valves to have better control.

 

So If I swap the pills back than It may fix it?

 

You are having the exact same problem I am having.... I have been serching and researching this problem every night I check something different everyday and still have found nothing tonight I found out I had no pills in my lines so I put the lines off my buddys car on mine his has the pills still I only get 7 to 8 psi I can not figure it out I have also done the non-seq mod and got no more let me know if you figure it out.

Sorry I haven't checked back in a few days. Anyway, swappign pills should not have that big an impact on boost levels. The pill oriffices are different, but not enough to lose all that boost.

Another question would be, what boost we you running before the hose job?

If it changed after you did the hoses then you may have routed something wrong. Believe me it's easy with 63 hoses to choose from. I have done no less than 10 FD's and I had problems once and a while. Looking things over always revealed soemthing I over looked.

I am not sure of my boost prior, because I did not have a boost gauge.

 

Have you checked the intake for boost leaks?

 

I have all new couplers and piping I have tightned all the clamps as far as I can.
