Oil Question
My oil light has been coming on for about 2 minutes everytime i start the car up. I checked the oil and its about 1/4ths of the way up on the stick. My mechanic changed my oil last and i dont know what type of oil he put in it. Im bringing my car back in the shop tommorow and i dont want to drive with the oil that low. Should i go to wallmart and buy some oil and top it off? Is it ok to mix oils (becuase i didnt know what kind he put in)? Ive only had my car for about a month or so and dont know that much about it, sorry if its a noob post

Any time the oil is low on the dipstick, you need to top it off. If you don't know what he used, call and ask him. I'm actually amazed. I've never paid someone to change my oil, but if you're not mechanically inclined, I understand. However, unless you have money to just throw away and you are not mechanically inclined, I would sell the RX-7 and buy something else.
