Oil pan leak on new reman?

New reman...filled with oil did not leak at all..started the car and started to leak out of the pass side front corner of the oil pan...looks like it is slightly dented there and oil is dripping profusely....Damn MAZDUH!

Also bought the flex hose from adv auto the accordian type and it had a LEAK! FOCK! Will I have to remove the block anti freeze too to remove the bottom large coolant hose?

What can I do with Mazda on the oil pan leak? Any repairs outside of lifting the damn engine and removing the oil pan? If I have to do that I am going to get Robs at Pineapple's new pan...and wave goodbye to all the oil pan woes.

If the original eng. mounts are still in the pass. side one could be bad. Oil pan leaks will happen regardless of what Mazda does until the mount gets replaced. Also, if you are going to have to lift the eng. then consider Pineapples new oil pan. A little spendy but sounds like a good investment. There's more info about the process here I think. http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/oil_pan_removal.html

Nick,
Make mazda give you new pan and add the oil pan brace from Gotham Racing.
Good luck,
Fritz
