Oil Neck Too Close to TB
I'm running into a small issue and was wondering what your guys' imput would be. My current setup right now is Xcessive LIM with Rotary Works 90mm Throttle Body and RSpeed Aluminum Oil Fill Neck.
The Oil fill neck is extremely close to the Throttle Body and i can't screw on cap. The stock cap is roughly 2.5'' diamater. I think perhaps a 2'' cap would work, but question is who makes one.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, my main concern is that it works, lol. The filler neck that I got has it LITERALLY bumping against my intake elbow, there wasn't physically enough space to fit the cap on and tighten it down.
I figure if there needs to be ONE THING on my car that looks ghetto, then I'll be ok with it being a filler neck cap :lmao:

Take a heat gun, and carefully heat up the oil neck untill you can bend it forward and have sufficient clearance from the throttle body. I wouldn't want anything too close that could potentially cause the throttle to stick. The other solution is a custom made oil neck. Someone used to sell an aluminum one but I can't recall who it was. Maybe Re-Speed?

I think he is using a RE-Speed filler neck. I know another member ran into the same issue, have you tried to contact them or posting on their GB section? I think it was AzEKnightz who had this issue, I'm not sure if he ever solved it.

HiIamSimon,
Yes I had that issue with the filler neck. What I did was simply contacted the vendor, send it back to him and had to extended the neck for me for $15. Great service, cant complain. But I recommend those who is running the same set-up, request an 1" extension towards the front of the engine, it'll solve the problem.
