Oil leak from turbos?

I Just bought my FD with new turbos and a rebuilt engine 25,000 miles ago ( or at least that is what the previous owner said) I have an oil leak comming from my second turbo. When I run it hard, say above 6000 rpms i can smell the oil comming from that turbo and when i open the hood a very small amount of smoke that smells like oil comes out. I do not know much about turbos, but i have think its a seal of some sort on the second turbo. I already started to take my turbos out, but before i continue the removal I want to make sure that i am doing the right thing by removing the turbos.... do you guys think its a seal or gasket of some sort and are my turbos shot, or could it be something minor like a hose? Is this normal for these turbos with only 25k on them to do this? thanks.

It could be one of the hoses going to the turbo becoming loose. I would check that prior to removing the turbo. Good luck!

Also, you may want to search on this topic for more advice.

The turbo s seal leaking would put oil inside the turbo and it would burn or be pushed into the air pipes. I would check the oil feed lines and the oil return pipes for a leak if the oil is out side the turbos.
