I have a 93 base model with 89K on the odometer and original engine and turbo. Recently I have noticed white smoke clouds come from the exhaust when car is idling at stop light. I can also smell oil burning. I have checked the M2 CAI boxi and intake pipes and find small amount of oil. I have also checked pipes going to intercooler and noticed small amount of oil there.

Is my turbo leaking a little oil? What else can be causing this?

I looked at the thread listed but a difference is I don't have any signs of oil leak under my car. It's completely dry. The area around the turbo looks pretty dry as well.

 

That's a pretty good indication of a bad turbo seal. But you got some good life out of those twins!
