oil leak coming from secondary turbo?

Today, when I removed the rear air pipe for the second turbo, it was dripping in oil, but oil doesnt even travel through this pipe, only air does. Where else could this oil be leaking from? I would like to fix this before I put everything back together, hope anybody has any ideas, thanks

Some oil in the intake pipes is ok, but a large amount is indicative of failing turbos.

Your probably better off finding a lightly used set of turbos, and swapping them out rather than trying to rebuild them which (based on your last few threads) is what you seem to be trying to do.

Ernesto - pull your Turbos off and send them to Turbo City for a complete overhaul. While they are at the shop, take some time to research the archives for things like turbo oil leak, turbo coolant leak, silicone hose, rats nest, water pump replacement, and general FD troubleshooting. Also the green shop manual is your firend. If you don't have one, buy one immediately and read it front to back. Put is in the ******* so you have exposure to it constantly.

Yes, as the gentleman told you, a "little" oil in the turbo outlet piping is normal. But a cup full means turbo overhaul.

I seem to have oil on the OUTSIDE of the pipe for the rear turbo and its kinda sticky almost like grease? (the INSIDE of the turbo pipe however does NOT have any oil at all, which is good?) Idk if it's a leak or if its normal . but I rechecked the turbo's oil lines ( feed lines and return) and there is no sign of oil leakage at any of the pipes what-so-ever. The only place I actually SEE oil dripping down, is from the oil pan gasket from the passengers motor mount area.

There is a good chance your leak is at the eccentric shaft rear main seal and/or the rear stationary gear O-ring.You can check by removing the inspection plate on the clutch housing and look for oil running down from behind the flywheel.
