Question Oil Check Light

Every other morning (sometimes yes sometimes no). A min or two after starting up in the mornings the oil light under oil pressure will go on. The pressure is fine its usually 60 or more but the light will turn on. What does this mean?? Ive check my oil level every morning and its fine, and even checked it when it warmed up and it was still fine.
One final question how much oil does an rx7 (non R1) take??

sounds like the low oil level sensor in the oil pan could be going bad. it is the one in the oil pan opposite the fill plug. check the manual for a test procedure possible. i think the part is around $60-100.

Whenever I change the oil I always add 4 quarts. It puts me at full on the dipstick.
