i've already posted this in the stereo section and got no replies and tried searching but didn't find what i was looking for.
i have the non-bose system with radio head unit and separate cd player unit. i'm wondering if the radio unit will still work if i take the cd player out. thanks in advance.

 

Yep, the radio will work just fine. It's the Cd player that requires the radio for operation....
