OEM RX7 OEM Scuff Plates - Anyone install these?
How do they look? Do they compromise any seals? I have them sitting in front of me but wanted some real world feedback before I went ahead with the install.
Thanks

they look good, gotta be some pictures if you search. if i remember you have to drill a hole but there is a rubber plug that fits in the hole and then the screws go thru the rubber. no problems here and i've had em for a couple years.

They're just scuff plates. not dynamite. anywho if you are talkin about the silver ones that say rx7 on them just get some self tapping screws (screws with a drill type head to make their own hole) put them in the right place use a power screw driver and dril them suckers in. they look great!

I have had these plates lying around for many years, I thought I lost them until after my last move, they mysteriously reappeared. I always liked the stock doorjam look, but finally made the decision to go ahead with this. I am glad I did.

The aluminum door sill scuff plates should come with a pair of well nuts per side for installation. You still have to drill 2 holes in the body, but you don't use self-taping screws. The plates themselves are not very sturdy - about as thick as tin foil. They will scuff and dent easily, and you'll wish you spent your money on something else more durable.
