OEM Rear Bumper
I'm about to purchase a OEM rear bumper for my JDM RX-7 and I know that the exterior throughout the years remained the same but for some reason, the JDM part number and the US part number for the rear bumper and energy absorbers are different.
US:
Rear Bumper
FD01-50-221B
Energy Absorbers
R FD07-50-31X
L FD07-50-31Y
JDM:
Rear Bumper
F100-50-221B
Energy Absorbers
FD01-50-31X
FD01-50-31Y
The JDM numbers were taking from the EPC so they might have changed slightly.
I've compared both parts catalog's and it appears that if the part number usually starts with FD01 then they share the same number. F100 for JDM, FD01 for common.
I'm sure the US bumper and absorbers will fit, just needed a second opinion.
Cheers,
Eddie

Only difference I have ever noted between bumpers, is (and this probably isnt even relevant to your case so much) the JDM VS Euro/Australian bumper covers.
JDM bumper covers cosmetically look identical to US bumper covers.
Euro/Aussie ones have a wider license plate area, to accomodate our larger license plate shape. And on each side of the license plate, are large rear fog lights.
I have never seen a difference in absorbers in Euro VS JDM, and to my mind its probably down to the impact force they are rated to absorb. JDM probably meets more stringent impact absorption forces or vice versa. The absorbers will *probably* bolt up without hassle, just made to take more/less force in rear end impact?
