OEM R1 Rear Spoiler Cracked On My R1

After 22 years my rear spoiler died.
This summer it developed a crack in the right outer mount. This month it finally spread completely around and through the whole piece. I removed the spoiler to discover that the molded plastic has turned very brittle.

Dropped it from about 3 feet onto the concrete and it shattered almost like glass into a few parts. Just tapping parts with a screw driver handle broke it more.

Once again bad Mazda plastics are to blame. Luckily I have an after market R1 copy to install, but it weights 8 lbs instead of 4 lbs.

Yeah, they're pretty brittle. I always cringe when I see people use them to shut the rear hatch.
