Question odd observation

hi guys, well i just went for some full throttle pulles in my fd in second gear (the only gear i can use without getting into lots of trouble on the small island of hawaii with out attracting the many cops just waiting for me). in any case, it seems as if my car pulls hard and constantly all the way thru to 7300rpm and the speed climbs evenly as well (so i know my clutch is doing fine), the weird thing is that im boosting at 13psi at 3000rpm, it drops to 10psi at 5000rpm, then it slowly drops 7psi at 7000rpm. is this some what normal (i heard some where that the boost pattern for normal cars is 10-8-10 and drops off some where near 8 at very high rpms but in 3rd gear)? how fast do you guys go from 3000-7000rpm in second gear?

i use to be boost at 22-15-10 but thats before i put in a 1 inch restrictor plate. the car seems like it lost a lot of torque but thats expected with the 1 inch restrictor plate. i never use to hit fuel cut before so im pretty sure the computer is modded but i dont know how or by who. also i have never heard popping/detonation/preignition and i always am backfiring at low and high rpms so im pretty sure im running a little more rich then lean.

i guess ill have to wait till i get to a track or late at night to try 3rd and 4th gear pulls.

anyways, any comments will be helpful
thanks in advance

i dont understand it myself, i used 2 different manual boostgauges (a greddy one and a autometer one) and a superafc to check it out and i know the stock boost sensor for the super afc can only measure up to 17psi accuratly but it seems to have been boosting to 22psi or 1.5 bar (for all those who just love the metric system ). yeah i i know that much boost will fock my car up hence the restrictor plate.

anyways the car is currently running fine (except for a 1200rpm idle but i think thats due to the free exaust and some kinda street porting and a 5th gear slight grind but how often do you think i need to go above 140mph in hawaii lol) and i am enjoying it emensly.

your high idle is a blown intake gasket.
you should also check your precontrol line, theres no mod that would make it do 1.5bar boost and then drop to .8
