odd noise under acceleration

good evening to you all. i just got a 3rd gen 7 and it seems to run good, im just trying to figure out this one noise i keep hearing.
whenever i accelerate i hear a sound thats almost a mix of a whirl and a rattle that sounds like its coming from under the hood. its most noticeable between 2-3000, after that it get drown out by the intake and the exhaust (greddy intake, apexi n1 single tip exhaust, if that matters).
everything seems secure as far as i can tell, and i know its not the turbos.
anyone have any idea?

i also have an efini y pipe installed.
it doesn't happen if im just sitting there and rev the engine, i have to actually be moving.
i tried searching for this but most results were about boost leaks but i doubt thats it since i'm still getting 10 psi.
