Odd dying problem w/ Haltech'd REW

Hi,
So I have been daily driving my FC3S w/ a 13bREW swap and haltech for a few months now (that's why I'm posting in the 3rd gen section) and it has been prety good with no problems.
Last week, I fired it up in the morning and all was good, went to back out of the driveway and the RPM dropped from 1000 to about 300 and loss all power. It would keep running, but if I rev'd it to try and get back in the driveway, it would sound aweful while shooting out flames and would be a struggle to move it. I shut it down, waited a few minutes, and tried to start it. It was extremely difficult and when it did start, the same problem came right from the beginning.
I decided to leave it since I was in a hurry to get on with my camping trip and proceeded to take the womans car.
I came back 3 days later, and it fired right back up, ran awesome. I drove it around the block with no problems and it was great until today.
We took it to get a car wash, was boosting good, drove great, no problems. I needed to turn around so I pulled over and then BAM, RPM dropped, no power, backfiring, shooting foot long flames etc. We popped the hood and right away I noticed the stock FPR and FPD were wet with fuel. My house was close so we decided to hop in and try to limp the block home so I fired it up, held the RPM at around 2500 and then it jumped up to 5000 andbecame its normal self. I was able to drive the way home like nothing ever happend.

My specs are:
13B-REW
Haltech E8
Stock FC ignition
Stock FD fuel system w/ walbro

Any ideas? I was thinking the leaking FPR was causing to much fuel to dump in or that my trigger/home sensors are messed.
I just found it weird how it has happened twice, but now the car drives great like nothing happened.
Needless to say, I will be replacing the fuel system with new components before driving it again but would like to figure this problem out first.

ANY help is appreciated as this was my first swap. Thanks
