Odd Boost Issue

Hi

Ive been having some odd boost issues with my fd of late.

Basically, my boost gauge registers around 0.7 bar on the first turbo (which it is set to via the pfc). Then there is a slight increase on the changover and then it registers around 0.67 on the second (once again what it is set to)

Whilst all this ihappening though, the knock light is going off like crazy and the car isnt really going anywhere fast...you can feel a slight shove from the first turbo when it comes on line but as the second supposedly comes online (from the boost gauge) there is a huge hissing sound and the car doesnt really feel fast....it feels really slow! slower than my TII!

Could this be my coils?

Thanks

most boost issues are vacum related. I would suggest you check the vacum circuit to ensure its maintaining vacum storage. Cracked hoses are common. If you have a 92 model for example, thats the first place I would look at as these 14 year old hoses would be very hard & britle by now..

BTW, where s the "knock" light. Never knew they had one......??
