They seem to recommend Hondas but ya reckon I could use one of these on my FD?

Only if it's a true 1:1 ratio rising-rate FPR (adds 1 pound of fuel pressure per pound of boost) and has the correct in and out fittings - some generic FPR's are designed to bolt to a Honda fuel rail.

I used a cheapie FPR on my old TII - worked great, had no problems with it. It isn't made any more, unfortunately.

But, if you start messing with fuel pressure, you better have a fuel pressure gauge to go with it. Otherwise you're just guessing and hoping that it will work, and that can be costly.

Looking at your mods, I don't see anything that says you need an upgraded FPR, unless you're window shopping for a new fuel setup.

yeah I'm looking at upgrading, I have a fuel pump already picked out ( good for 500hp) so now I'm just looking at the regulator side of things, I think I might look at rising rate

There is really zero point to "upgrading" the stock fuel regulator unless you've installed an aftermarket secondary injector rail and therefore can't use the stock regulator anymore. The stock regulator (assuming it's working properly) can handle the power levels associated with running a single turbo and upgraded injectors.

Yes, why wouldn't you be able to?
