o2 sensor replacement...

Hi, it appears my o2 sensor on the downpipe has gone out. I bought the what appears to be the cheap bosh at autozone and I dont think its working. I'm still getting really crappy MPG and a few backfires. I have it hooked up to my air to fuel guage and its not reading a thing. Suggestions on replacements?

Thanks
Staton

Check the continuity of the wiring to the sensor.
