o2 sensor?

when im driving around town and i come off from a red light and i give it gas before i let out the clutch up rpms go up for a secound and then dip and then back up and my A/F guage says it goes from green bar to 2nd to last red bar and then back up its like it almost stalls and then recovers and if i rev up engine when its almost back to the idle point it drops below 900rpms <my set idle) to around 600 and then climbs back up like it almost stalls again and if im driving down the street in 3nd or 2nd and holding the same RPMS it feels like it lets off for a sec then back on intermittently and a sec and back on and every time it lets off a lot my A/F guage drop about 6 bars and climbs back up
so whats the problem? it dosn't feel right

You can't really take anything that guage says serious.

Basically it's just a cool light show. Under full throttle is when the guage is somewhat accurate.

*edit* Read this, it explains how the guage works

Nope. The gauge is only accurate under cruising and light throttle conditions. Under full throttle is when it is LEAST accurate, which is why you don't use narrowband sensors for tuning.

No it won't. Didn't you have a thread about this where we told you it was a useless gauge?

A Techedge wideband is like $400 with a wideband sensor and display. Good stuff and totally unnecessary unless you are tuning your car, which you really shouldn't be.

I noticed the same thing today. They are correct. You can't trust that gauge. I felt the little dip in power as I let the clutch out too. When I watched my WB with my NB I notced they followed each other very close in this situation. Earlier I had pulled fuel from the PIM section in the 1000-2000 RPM range. This was done prior to me knowing what I was doing and I was trying to make it idle less rich. I put them back to the original settings and I think it cleared it up. I need more time to tell for sure.

p.s. What ECU are you running and does this only happen in throttle transitions at 1000-2000 RPMs? Mine did.
