'Notchy Shifting' Question

I replaced my tranny fluid a few months back with MT90. I dont see why it would be low already...
BUT my shifting has gotten Notchier since Drag Racing it. And I had someone tell me to try and open up the shifter from the cockpit and 'lube' the parts. *If what he says is true, any tips on going about this?

I replaced my fluid with Neo synthetic and mine is A) Leaking and B) Notchier... possibly due to leaking. I'm going to back to the regular stuff next week.

Well the MT 90 was great. Its just after Ive run it hard recently its gotten rough.
Hard to get into first and when I pull the stick over to the left it doesnt spring immediatly back towards the middle like it used to.

Make sure your change control case has fluid in it. Remove the shift ****, the center console panel, the rubber boots/insulation, and the 3 10 mm bolts holding the shifter to the top of the trans. Fill it up to about 1.5 inch from the top with gear oil.

Just curious...why did you put the MT90 in the trans and not MTL? (unless they are the same, but I don't think they are).

After putting in MTL my shifting became pretty much effortless

If the tranny has the proper amount of fluid in it, everything will get lubed. The proper way to check it is to put the car on level jacks and remove the filler plug from the tranny. Fill until it starts to overflow.

Filling from the shifter space may result in over/under filling.
