so today i replaced my omp because it was sedning a limp mode to the computer.

put evrything back on

Alternator
Finally conected my coolant level switch.
took off the spark plugs (put them in right spot- #7=Leading(on both bottoms) #9=Trailing (both on top) pluged my wires in made sure l1 and l2 are in right place )

it sounds like its trying to fire, ill get a POP out the back once in a while, and i have a light smoke coming out of my exhaust smells like burnt off oil and gas so i have a feeling its trying to ignite.

couple of days ago when we were testing my old omp to make sure it was running or not, we disconected the plugs and cranked her over 3 or 4 times coul i have maybe flooded it ?

ask questions if need be.

Charge the batt, pull the egi fuse, floor it and crank it for a good minute. put the fuse back, and see if it'll fire.
If it still won't go, check compression and try to add a bit of oil or atf to the chambers.

 

remove all spark plugs, remove the yellow relay under the hood. crank car over in 10 second intervals for about a minute then reinstall plugs put relay back in and retry try starting it over. it sounds to be a flooded motor.

 

so i did all of this. and still nothing!! did it twice today. and nothing, am getting and pop backfire and thats it, and sometimes it wants to crank over. what can i do. i need to get her going asap am going crazy!! would aether help at all ? just a little shot ? and was it a relay or fuse ?

 

pull the plugs again try injecting some Marvel mystery oil into the spark plug holes turn the motor over by hand using a 19 socket and putting it on the front main bolt let sit for 20-30 mins and try starting again. also make sure your getting spark it still sounds to me that your flooding the engine. also is the stock cat on the car? if so you may have a clogged cat.

 

yes i have the stock cat. and there is flow, its only the main cat. the turbo has an khs downpipe. and the yellow fuse i take out, does that turn off the injectors so im not putting more fuel into the chamber when im trying to clear it... and and it tried to turn over, so i know i have spark.. i just think its fludded as ****. would letting it air out for a long time (with the plugs out) air it out. and what does the marvel oil do ?
