Not pullin properly
Not pullin properly
Something not right with my FD. As you go trhrough the gears it seems to struggle for power. As if it wants to choke itself out. You can gently power through this problem but once you hit 4th its got nothing left to give and really wants to choke out. Idles fine and sounds sweet. Any ideas????

Could be a solenoid that's gotten clogged, or you might have a boost/exhaust leak, there really are a number of things that it could be. Go get a boost gauge and then post the boost pattern, that'll give us a lot more information and somebody might be able to figure out what's wrong with it just from that alone.
1. You need a boost gauge
2. You need to do the boost test
3. If the engine is new/rebuilt like you said in one of your other many threads, you probably shouldn't be trying to run it too hard until you get past your break-in period.

Not been running it hard at all. This is going through the gears at a nice steady pace, it just seems to want to choke out. Got new ignition leads as one suggestion is misfire and a new fuel filter.
