Probably a good ide, but I wouldnt know where to get or how to make it hold the 25kg heavy intercooler..

Not to mention the vibriations of the car running on the track.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

The tubing are 16gauge and the thickest 321ss tubings burns stanless had..

I will probably need to beef-up the manifold, but I don`t know how I will do it yet.

Weld and bracing bar (8mm or 10mm round bar) from the turbo flange to the engine flange to stop the flex between them.

So that will do the trick?
Or will I have to do more than that?

yea its common practice with cossie's and many other cars which have extravigant manifolds to accomodate for a big turbo. In your case you would probably be best to weld 2 in place, i.e. both from the same point on the turbo flange and one going to each exhaust port (like an "A" frame/ triangulation) for strenght.

It is also common to fit turbo supports like this http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...%3Den%26um%3D1 So you may what to have a think/look at how easy it would be to fabricate something simmilar.

Hope this helps

Start over lol..... he could have arc welded or gas welded everything if he wanted.... all that really matters is that the welding was done properly.
