Nooooo

well this sucks....

i just bought my rx7 like 3 weeks ago, and i got this..

the car rolled down my drive way into the fence

im not sure how it rolled cause i got home and parked it and it didnt roll till about an hour or two after that? when i got back in the car the ebrake was down, so either i did forget to pull it or it gave out?

anyways, ive had 3 other cars b4 this and never had an accident or tickits and this happens

the body shop guy who myself and my mother goes to said it will be around 800 to fix, but he told me to go to this other place to see what they say, and they told me 2K!

ok im done ranting lol

Ouch! Sorry for your damage!

BTW, done properly, that is much more than an $800 repair, unless you are "getting a deal".

I own a body shop and prices(labor) goes up when having 1/4 panel damage, thats y i try to find rear-ended cars for cheap... And yes done properly it would be around 1500-2k, sorry to break the news.
www.bodyshoppros.com if ya want to check out our work it is quality work, for 800 you will kave your car back with crap paint, most likely your bondo will be cracking etc...you wont have a decent job for $800.
BTW, sorry to hear about the accident.

I've called him on it before, and he didn't respond that time either. I feel sorry for people who have to make **** up about themselves to impress a bunch of anonymous people they've never and will never meet. Funny.

why didn't you put the car into gear when you parked it? I always put the ebrake and the the car into gear so that if the brake gives out, the gears will still hold it in place as precaution

I have had a similar experience in the past. I was however lucky enough not to have hit anything. Good luck on getting your car fixed. On the bright side, things could have been worse, and of course, good lesson to keep this from happening again.

Our cars suck for static compression. You can put it in first gear and roll it where ever you want to. Set the E-brake really well to keep it from moving.

I find it interesting that at 15 you can have a commercial drivers lisence to operate a tow truck............didn't know that was possible on a learners.

Yeah i left my car on a slight incline with the ebrake firmly up one day and 2 hours later i find my car 30 feet from where i left it and it almost hit a bunch of expensive cars. My ebrake is the suxor.

I had a small scuff on the same spot you hit your car and it was almost 2400 to fix because they have to paint the rear bumper the whole body including the roof to the front of the doors. they dont have to paint the doors or the hatch but i had them do that too. It was under insurance.(some old lady bumped my car) so good luck man. hopefully that will be the worst accident you have in your 7.
