NON-SEQ. read

Guys,

Alright heres the deal. Im in the process of taking my engine to be dropped by an actual place so I can hopefully get a warranty of soem sort... thats besides the point,

First question, what all can be removed for the full NON-SEQ conversion and what needs to be fixed? I've already blocked off the ACV on the LIM. Should I remove the double throttle? I've already done the non seq conversion I'm just double checking everything I did before I have the engine dropped. I'm trying to figure out everything ahed of time so when I drop the engine off they dont have to charge me extra hours putting or pulling things that werent/were there.

There is a butterfly valve in the Y pip I removed as well, should I put this back or is it okay since I've gone non-seq?

Can somone give me a link to a diagram fro the NON-SEQ setup? My engine comes in afew days and Im going to put all the accesories and vaccume lines on so all they have to do is drop the biach.

Also, where is the best place to order vaccume lines, coolant hoeses etc??? I'm going to purchase them tonight.

Thanks,

Pretty much... if anyone can give me tips in terms of preperation before installing an engine that'd be great. Because I want it to be as complete as possible before I take it to what ever shop I finally decide on.

You do not need the butterfly in the Ypipe if you are non-seq. Just block off that hole there.
As for the hoses, you can get them at HoseTechniques.com. Don't get the kit they have for our cars. They will give you enough to replace all the hoses for SEQ setup. That is WAY more than you need. You will probably only need like 5 ft. of the 1/4 hoses and a few feet of the other sizes. Not alot.
Might as well get rid of all the other emissions stuff like the air pump, AWS, AWS pipes, etc. Get block off plates for them. Less stuff to put back in the engine = good.
You don't HAVE to remove the double throttle. You can if you want too. You can just deactivate it though.

Yeah, read Rikki's thread. Lots of good info there.
Good luck.
