I had an 8.5 lb flywheel and ast clutch street/strip installed by petit racing as well as their short throw shifter and now the car seems to make a metalic rubbing noise from the clutch. Is this normal? it almost sounds like the flywheel is making the noise? help!

No, this is not normal. It shouldn't make any noise. Take the car back in and have them look at it. Petit has a good reputation, and should make it right for you.
