Noisey Clutch

Hey all,

Past couple of weeks my clutch was chattering when engaged, and progressively getting worse (throwout bearing was my assumption), so I decided to replace the whole clutch. After replacing everything with an ACT clutch kit (pressure plate, street disc, throwout bearing, clutch line, etc) the noise remains, though not as loud as it was before. Any ideas on why it's still rattling or a thread with similar problem/solution? Thanks for all feedback.

Car specs are:
94 R2
~130,000 on chassis/transmission
New ACT clutch kit
Stock resurfaced flywheel

Did you replace the pilot bearing?

I didn't bother replacing it because it was in perfect condition; also because I remember how the crank in my buddy's RX-7 got messed up when a local shop attempted to replace his. Besides, the sound only occurs when the clutch is disengaged (regardless of being in gear). Usually if the pilot bearing is messed up, it'll chatter all the time.

A quick post script: The noise is VERY loud when i go in reverse.
