Noise in fuel lines?

I was priming the fuel system and noticed noise in the fuel lines under the intake manifold. It doesn't go away, is that normal? It sounds like there's air in the lines or something. There are no leaks that I can see and I don't smell gas. The car won't start so I'm wondering if I have a fuel pressure problem. Thanks for any help!

Normal! Get use to noises with the FD and stop being paranoid. Otherwise the 7 will drive you over the edge which you are close to now.

Don't know yet. I'm going to look for a gage tomorrow.

I'm not really paranoid, it's just that I haven't had this FD running yet. I got it last January with a blown motor. Actually the thing had been sitting for over five years with the motor pulled. The motor was blown so I swapped motors and just now tried to start it. It didn't start so I checked compression and spark which are both good. It's just not getting fuel. I used a little started fluid and it fired right up but wouldn't run by itself. I had the injectors cleaned before reassembling things so I think they should be all right. I drained the five year old fuel out of the tank and put in some fresh fuel, but I didn't pull the fuel pump to see how it was. For all I know, the in tank filter is horribly clogged. I thought I'd see how things were first. The pump works but I have no way of knowing if the pressure is up to snuff. I will look for a gage tomorrow. Since this is the first time I have primed the system I didn't know if the sound i'm hearing is normal or not. Doesn't seem like you should hear so much flowing sound but I don't know. Hence the question. Anyway, thanks for the reply. I may pull the fuel pump just so I won't be paranoid later!
