Noise from engine after oil change

Hey guys, I just did an oil change on my 93 rx7 and after a drive around the engine is making an odd sound while idling. I cannot hear it while driving probably since everything else is too loud. The car has a rebuilt engine with about 1000 miles on it. It did not make this noise before the oil change and I am unsure of what it could be. Could anyone give me an idea of what may be making this noise?

Thanks for any help in advanced

Is it that slight ringing type sound? Is it rpm dependent? It sounds like something is loose. As crazy as it may sound weird things like this are a lot more common than you would think. Sometimes washing the car causes your fuel pump to fail or getting gas will make your plug wires bad. It's wild how some of this stuff just appears.

also, if your filler neck o-ring is bad enough then it's possible that when you poured the oil that some of it got on your pullies and your just hearing the sound of oily pullies. It's a stretch but this is usually how these types of things end up.

Yea, the noise went away after driving a while and hasn't come back. I pop the hood after every drive listening for it but it's gone. Not sure what was the problem, but car drives great right now.

That fix would drive me nuts. I hate when stuff just fixes itself, it makes me paranoid lol
