No Spark on leading plugs only

I recently installed a msd6al and had no spark on the leading plugs. I tested the msd and the box passed the spark test, when you ground the white wire from the msd box. I tried many different things and ended up giving up on the msd and re-installed my hks twinpower and still have no spark. I have a good strong spark on the trailing plugs but nothing on the leading. The car starts but runs like crap. I checked the blk + red wire and there is 12v when the key is in the on position, also checked when the car is cranking and the voltage dropped a little but still good. I also connected one lead of the multimeter to the blk/red wire and the other lead to the yellow and blue wire and cranked the car and the voltage fluctuated like its supposed to. Then I checked where the ignition harness plugs into the main harness and there was voltage there also. I tried changing the coil with a known good coil and it did not help also both coils passed the ohms resistance test. I also tried different plugs and tried swapping the wires from the trailing and still nothing. All grounds are connected the big one near where the power steering used to be, the one under in intake manifold, on the back side of the intake manifold and the one from the ignition harness to one of the posts that the coil mounts to. Since the car starts and has spark on the trailing I would think it cant be related to any fuses relays or CAS. I don't know where to go from here and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not sure if I followed everything you checked but here are a couple of things to try. Try switching the black connector (on the middle/Leading coil to one of the trailing coils). Put the white or blue connector from the trailing coil on the leading coil. Then put an old spark plug in the plug wire and crank. You might unplug your primary injectors so you don't flood the engine. If you have spark at the leading coil then the leading coil should be OK. And if you now don't have spark at the trailing coil then something between the ECU and the connector is suspect.

So go to page Z-28 in the FD Wiring Diagram book. Look at connector B1-09. The leftmost pin is not used, the second from the left is LG/B which goes to the leading coil. However this wire changes color where the ignition harness plugs into the engine harness. At that point (Connector B1-14) it changes from LG/B to Y/B. Anyway, check continuity from the igniter connector to the black connector where it plugs into the coil.

If you do not have a break in the wire then the only things left are the igniter, the ECU (1H), or the wire between. You can check continuity on the wiring from 1H to the igniter (this is the third pin from the left - LG) which just leaves the ECU or the igniter. If you get that far and all is OK I would bet on a bad igniter.
