No spark or anything, dead battery?

So I was out for a nice ride tonight and stopped at a gas station. Well once I stopped I couldn't go again. Didn't have any hesitation tonight when I first started it up. So I checked my battery in the hatch. Took off the positive terminal and tapped it one the terminal post and I go no spark. Checked the connection in the engine bay and it seemed like it was on there good. The ground is on solid too. Maybe my alternator is going bad and the battery is just dead now? It's a new battery only about a month old. Normally starts up fine no hesitation or anything. Just not sure what might be the cause. I'll take the battery tomorrow to get it checked but was looking for any other ideas in the meantime so first thing in the morning I can get to work. Edit: get to work on the car, I have a DD.

You'll need to get a meter and go through the system to find where you have lost a connection. This is a reason why I don't like battery relocations, it adds a lot of spots into the system that can fail.

Should be super easy to find if the battery is dead, just put a meter on it. 12+ volts, it's fine.

Unfortunately my bay doesn't have any more room for the battery lol. Hmm I have a multimeter just didn't know if there would be a common place that would cause this issue like a cable coming off the starter or something.

Edit: I put the multimeter on DC and put red lead on + terminal post and black lead on - terminal post and got a 12+ Reading. Then I took it to the engine bay and put it to the post on the positive fuse box that the + battery leads and connects directly to and put the black lead on the chassis and got .0010 with the key turned and 1.520 with the key out. Just wondering if I'm testing wrong or if this gives any more ideas.

Edit #2: I disconnected the positive terminal from the fuse box and tested it by itself and am getting 12+v. Once I connect it, it drops down to 1.5-600.

Edit #3: tested the fuses in the first box the battery terminal connects to for continuity and got .1 on all of them except the furthest one to the rear I can't seem to pull out.

Edit #4: jacked it up and tested the starter also 1.5XX reading. I'm at a loss at this point. No clue what to do.
