no pills and creeps bad

well i put on a midpipe and i get nasty creep. my current set up aside from the MP is a DP, PFC, RB dual tip, apexi intake. before the MP i saw a pretty stable boost pattern. after the midpipe i had really terrible boost creep. i removed both pills and over 5500rmps the secondary would move up to 12-13 lbs when set at 10lbs on the PFC(.7bar). i have a feeling that the only thing that i can do to prevent creep with my set up would be porting the wastegate. i have put the pills back in and put the cat back on and noticed that the car is not anywhere near as fun when i had my MP on. safer, but not fun. does anyone have any suggestions on what i could do. is porting the wastegate my only option(dont think i would bother since these have 82K miles on them). please give me any and all of your comments. also, would a profec b be of any use, or will that only allow more boost if you are underboosting?

I don't understand why you would install a mid-pipe and then only try to run 10 psi. Why wouldn't you at least run 12 psi anyway?

One reason to (try to) run low boost would be to help avoid creep. You will creep less if the boost is lower in the first place.

But then again, depending on your goals, it might be better to run 12 psi with a cat than 10 psi with a midpipe.

I have a full exhaust (midpipe) and i run 10psi. Try setting the boost lower using the power fc. What i did was run a manual home depot controller. RUnning longer vacuum hoses has an affect in making the boost lower sometimes.

thanks mahjik. i read that and it was teh same stuff i found when i searched. i have it set to 10 lbs and get 12lbs of boost. i dont think that i want to dial in 12lbs of boost. who knows what i would get. i would like to tune it for 12 and 14 as i have no problem cruising it on 12lbs all day. this is however my daily driver as my CRX was sold to pay for a recent repair. (how much i love to hate this car) im may try that longer hose suggestion. sounds like it may be the only thing left at this point. if i was to take off the turbos i would just send them to bryan and have him make them all pretty for me. also i have played with the PFC over and over and i didnt get any results. i was thinking of using a PROFEC B to control boost, but i didnt think that it would do any good since my boost was already spiking without pills. feel free to chime anything else in

If you read that first link I posted, boost controllers do not help with "boost creep".

*If* boost creep is what you are exhibiting, the wastegate is already doing what it can. So adding a boost controller isn't going to change that.

The ECU alone cannot prevent boost creep. If the boost controller/ecu detects a boost level rising once the wastegate is 100% what else can it do? You need to port the wastegate, or add some restriction to the exhaust (hi flow cat, stock cat, restrictive cat-back, restrictor plates [i have a few]), otherwise you will get creep.
