Question No Pill and low boost. Help!

I recently removed an AVC-R from my car which resulted in my only getting .45 boost all the time. I found it was because there is suppose to be a restrictor pill leading to the wastegate actuator.

Do I NEED that pill if I have a powerFC? Is it safe to goto the boost section of the powerFC and lower the duty cycle?

Or is that pill the only means of safely controlling boost?

You need the pill so the solinoid can pass enough pressure to move the actuator. Try to pour water into a glass with a hole in the bottom that is the same size as the top opening .Get it now ?
