No matter what the coolant light stays on????

Fluid is full and the coolant light stays on at all times, except for right after startup, 20 seconds boom there it is bright and loud???? Any ideas

If you have a multimeter try measuring the resistance across the level sensor to see if it's shorted.

I did have the engine and harness's out of the vehcile, replaced all my coolant seals, did I forget to plug something in somewhere???

i'd check your connections on the thermostat, see the light will only come on if the ECU gets the voltage from continuity across the thermostat.

the coolant lvl sensor supplies a ground through the coolant when the level is up. that is why it is plastic. look at the drivers side harness connections below the elbow. there is a sub connector there people tend to forget. single spade
