no fuel pressure when i turn key

so my car was running good until my bosses friend comes in with a timing light to check my timing. He reaches in where the spark plugs are and trys to connect his timing light to the spark plugs. I told him he should go threw the bottom because I relocated the coils to where the power steering was and it was easier. The car is on jacks. He just ignored me saying he knows what he is doing. Anyways he couldnt get to the plugs after he had his hands all up in the engine bay trying to connect the gun. After he did that my car didnt start. I used to have fuel pressure when i turn the key and now I have nothing. When the car turns over the pressure goes up to about 20 psi and then drops like a rock. I checked all the fuses and they are all good. I jumped the fuel pump from both the diagnostic box and fuel relay fuse and get 40 psi so I know I dont have a leak. I took out the fuse relay and tried again and same thing ...pressure would jump to 20 and drop withing 5 sec. Then i wired the fuel pump to a 12v and had constant 40 psi of pressure and tried to start the car and nothing. It turned over a bit more but didnt start. I do get slight injector duty when i try to start it. Could he of possibly shorted something. Is there a connector towards where the sparks plugs are that I am missing. I also checked to see if it was flooded and it wasnt. The sparks plugs where not wet but did smell like gas. Is it possible for a bad fuse relay?Thx
