What happened to the stock one? Yes, it can be harmful to not run a blow-off valve

^^^^ Ditto. Why did you take off your stock one? Shouldnt have conflicted with the installation of your FMIC.

Just let off the throttle slowly when you shift if there is boost . The blowoff valve will help the health of the tubro bearings so get one asap.Drive carefully untill then.

The BOV is there to help extend the life of the turbos. Can you run without one? Yes. Should you? Probably not, but you can.

There are quite a few people on the forums that are purposely running without them.
