No beeping from passenger side door opening?

Hey guys, I just noticed that when I open my passenger side, and only the passenger side door, there is no beeping or the light in the interior doesn't come on? Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks.

Check the door pin, may be broken. It's a small plastic pin in the door jam that lets the car know the door is open or closed.

Ya check the door pin. I accidentally broke mine on my Ranger. I just got used to it so never bothered fixing it.

Good choice. I had one replaced on my company owned Ford Ranger...$380. Seems the Ranger uses a magnetic sensor to tell when the door is open, not just a normal pin switch. Leave it to Ford to make something so simple as complicated as possible...and expensive.
