Re-Amemiya recently released some new parts for the FD, very expensive as always. Thought the tail-light design is something unique, I *think* I like it. Before I get any PMs, I can NOT source any of these parts as they are brand new, nothing on the second hand market. Just wanted to make you guys aware of some cool new parts.

LED Tails



New full body kit, retail at over $13k.

 

It's an interesting look indeed. No center brake light though won't pass in my state.

 

I think the new tail lights look pretty damn cool, although I don't like the matching color one.

I dont like those white light surrounds, they are a little strange.

yea the full body kit looks very rx8 like as well, especially the rear guards.
seems they are trying to make the 7 look more like the 8, im not sure i like that.

ferrari-like taillights. hmm, i think stock converted led taillights look better. And 13k for the bodykit? would rather chose the veilside fortune.

really widebody to look like it has over fenders...

 

I've been watching these taillights since they were announced a few days ago, I really like them in carbon.

 

That's the ugliest Widebody I have seen that is from re-a. Not aggressive at all and then fenders look like they came off of a miata.

Taillights could be cool, It will be interesting to here peoples opinion when they see them in person...

 

Body kit looks too much like a porsche

 

I'm shocked by how relatively affordable those widebody kits are. They come with the headlights and hood right?

 

I'm fairly certain that their previous full body kit was made to look like a Porsche as well. They've got a hard-on for the Porsche look it seems

Honestly I'm not really a fan of either the body kit or the tail lights, they look too ricey to me.

 

I'd rock that body kit if I had the money.

 

Everyone always says that they're Porsche-esque. While the suggestion isn't without merit, I'm inclined to believe that he is actually paying homage to the Cosmo; Amemiya being the rotary loyalist that he is.

I think the best part was left off this list.... After spending 6 weeks being told it didn't exist, I finally found someone who ordered this rear bumper/light combo for me before it showed up on their site.

 

I'll take one of the Carbon ones please..... I can always engineer in my own center LEDs for brake lights. Hey Big C.... Happy Holidays!!

The bodykit doesn't look that bad from the front picture there. LED taillights aren't a bad idea either, but the '99 spec ones are just SOOO perfect i couldn't imagine having anything else.
